Ophori Cosmetics is a social enterprise focused on the labour market integration of people with disabilities, as well as on raising awareness of the challenges faced by this group. The organisation employs eight individuals in hard-to-employ circumstances and produces a wide range of cosmetic products that are sold to companies. One such example is their partnership with ANA Hotels.
Ophori Cosmetics supplies hotel cosmetics to ANA Hotels while employing individuals with disabilities. Ophori Cosmetics’ approach focuses on the production of a range of high-quality cosmetic products.
The partnership has created two new employment opportunities for people with disabilities, supporting Ophori’s mission. For ANA Hotels, it enhances customer satisfaction and reinforces its social responsibility. The collaboration between both organisations demonstrates the scalability of socially responsible procurement practices in the hospitality sector.
“Our partnership model can be replicated and scaled with other hotels, tailored to the specific requirements of new customers. The more customers we have, the more opportunities we can provide for people with disabilities to work for us. This model can also be applied to other sectors, such as real estate, by providing welcome packs to new homeowners.”
