The Grande Région Cluster ESS is a cross-border cluster operating between Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Germany.
Established in 2018 by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and the Social Solidarity Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Department of Meurthe et Moselle in France, Cluster ESS is a pioneering initiative in Europe. Their aim is to enable social enterprises in the Greater Region to scale up and maximise their social and societal impact in the region by cooperating, exchanging goods and services, pooling their resources or creating innovative partnerships. Their fields of action include the circular economy, energy transition, short economic circuits and European projects.
