Comunita Emmaüs Arezzo

Member organisation of Emmaus International since 1978. Emmaus Arezzo was the first Italian community to join Emmaus International, in 1978. It was founded by Franco Bettoli, former chair of Emmaus International (1988-1999), who passed away in 2008. Today, Emmaus Arezzo is home to 22 companions, who do traditional Emmaus community work: collecting, sorting, repairing and reselling goods at low prices. The group also collects scrap metal in order to recycle it.
