Case studies on skills sets and social impact #01 ‑ Digital and social trends in reuse operations

Social enterprises in the circular economy do more than extend the life of products; they create opportunities for people, build communities, and drive social change. But how do digital and social trends influence their impact? And what role do skills play in shaping the future of re-use operations?

Developed as part of the DigiSocCirc project, co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), our latest report explores these questions through three case studies from Croatia, Finland, and The Netherlands. Each story highlights how social enterprises are using skills development to empower individuals, improve well-being, and foster positive change - especially for vulnerable groups. From digital know-how to hands-on repair expertise, the right skills can transform lives and communities.
