Finance and HR Manager (Part-time)

RREUSE is currently searching for a Finance and HR Manager to join its Brussels based team. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve an impact driven network whose members are delivering significant good for people and environment.


Founded in 2001, RREUSE is an international NGO network representing social enterprises active in the circular economy, notably in the field of re-use and repair. RREUSE’s mission is to serve and represent our social and circular enterprise community, helping drive their development through positive change to European policy, best-practice exchange, innovative partnerships and projects. Our vision is an inclusive circular economy based on re-use and repair in solidarity with both people and environment.

  • General accounting, payroll and bookkeeping for an organisation currently consisting of a total of 8 staff members (7.6 FTE)
  • Preparation of annual and multi-annual budgets and updates as well as financial reports and audits 
  • Processing of invoices, project-related expenses and staff claims 
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting on financial aspects of RREUSE’s projects and grants
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting and project/grant administrative processes 
  • Ad-hoc financial, fiscal and administrative support
  • Provision of strategic advice concerning organisational spend

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in a financial management / officer role ideally within a membership based association setting and especially within a EU-context
  • Experience of managing EU funding and grants
  • Excellent command of English (equivalent C2 both written and spoken). Proficiency in French is a particular bonus
  • Proficiency in MS office, notably Excel and experience with specialised tools such as Winbooks a big plus
  • Immaculate organisation skills with clear attention to detail
  • A personable approach to colleagues
  • A clear drive to work in our social and environmental NGO environment
  • The candidate is required to work in Brussels
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time (mostly within Europe)
    • Contract type: Part-time contract (3 days / week)
    • Remuneration Package: 2,100 – 2,300 EUR gross / month depending on experience, plus extra benefits including 13th month salary, holiday bonus, 25 days’ annual leave, lunch vouchers, éco-cheques, DKV, support for costs associated with tele-working
