Insieme is an Italian social cooperative that combines environmental action with social inclusion by creating job opportunities for people facing disadvantage through reuse, recycling, and preparation for reuse.
Founded in 1979 as a citizens' initiative, Insieme turns waste into resources while supporting individuals on their path to employment. From repairing goods to running second-hand shops and managing recycling centres, the cooperative gives a second chance to both people and materials that might otherwise be discarded.
